Our partner school is, no doubt, one of the most experienced language schools in England. For almost 40 years, its excellent teachers have been teaching in the best traditions of the British academic training, famous for being stimulating and efficient. Located in the heart of Wimbledon, a 5-minute walk from the city, the school is surrounded by a magnificent garden: it is the very picture of serenity. In the multimedia room as well as in the library, you will have access to information or documents on the English language and culture. The atmosphere is studious yet relaxed. In small groups with a maximum of 10 participants, you will follow 4 lessons of 50 minutes per day in the morning. The topics are varied and include English culture and customs, the history of London, art, architecture, English houses, gardens, music and local gastronomy. The teachers will encourage you to talk about all of these subjects fluently and will give you interesting information on each theme. The lessons are in direct relation to the excursions programme and will give you the cultural background for the afternoon activities.

For your language stay in Wimbledon, the school recommends living with a host family in single room . With the « superior » option, you will have the use of a private bathroom. In any case, you will share the daily life of a family or a couple who lives in the city, and given the short distance, you may even be able to walk to school. You will have a choice between room with breakfast only or half-board. This option favours total immersion in the English language and allows for interesting conversations with your hosts.

The programme planned by our partner school will provide you with a wide choice of excursions and outings. Thus, you will be able to visit castles and gardens (Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Kenwood Gardens, etc.), museums (British Museum, Museum of London), art galleries and other interesting sites. Excursions are supervised and will give you an opportunity to put into practice what you have learnt in class in the morning! Three half-day excursions are offered during the week and on Saturdays, you will go on a full day excursion. And remember you can reach the centre of London by train or bus in less than half an hour!
