Our partner school is located on the main street of Montreux, whose beautiful promenade lined with exotic trees runs along Lake Geneva. The school is easily accessed by public transport, as the various stations are located only a few minutes' walk away. The course centre has spacious and bright classrooms, a computer area with Internet connection, as well as a cafeteria and a terrace, where you will be able to chat with the other international participants during the breaks. Attentive to your needs, the teachers and the staff of the school are at your disposal and see to the smooth running of the programme throughout the duration of your stay. Thanks to the direct proximity of various bars and restaurants, you will be able to meet up with your friends and make new encounters after your French classes.

With 15 French lessons each week in classes of a maximum of 8 participants, the 50+ programme is an excellent compromise between the learning of the language and cultural visits. During the two weeks of your stay, the classes take place in the morning and are mainly based in oral expression. In the company of people of your generation, you will in this way improve your language knowledge through topics like history, literature, traditions and the way of life in Switzerland.

The ESL language school in Montreux proposes to you to live with a host family during your language study trip This type of accommodation is ideal and allows you a stay in total immersion. By sharing in the daily life of your hosts, you will be able to practise French and get to know their way of life and culture. The family which accommodates you is carefully selected according to its compatibility with your wishes and interests, in order that you may feel well in their company. You will stay in a single room with half board or breakfast only, according to your choice. All of the host families are located only a short walking distance away or by public transport from the school.

- Activities/leisure programme

The afternoons and evenings during the week are dedicated to cultural and social activities. Accompanied by a member of the school and the other participants in the Club 50 programme, you will go on the encounter of French-speaking Switzerland and will in this way practise French, whilst visiting the various attractions of the region. The leisure activities programme generally proposes a different activity every afternoon and 2 evening outings during the week to you. At the weekend, a full-day excursion is proposed in a surrounding city like Geneva or Lausanne.
