Our partner school in Taormina is located in a historical 19th century building which overlooks the town and which offers a magnificent panorama over Naxos bay and Mount Etna. The course centre has at your disposal spacious and air-conditoned classrooms, a library, as well as a lounge, with free Internet connection and television. In addition, in order that you may enjoy the Italian sun, you have free access to the school's roof terrace. The combination of quality teaching with a relaxed atmosphere makes the Babilonia school an ideal setting for learning Italian during a language study stay.

Designed for people over 50 years, "Club 50 - Taormina" is targeted at the learning of the language, history and culture of Italy. If you wish to improve your Italian, whilst discovering this magnificent region in the company of people of your generation, this programme will fascinate you! During the 2 weeks of your stay, in the mornings, from Monday to Friday, you will take 4 Italian lessons in a class adapted to your language level. Essentially based on communcation, the classes will give you more ease to express yourself in Italian and you will get to know the other participants from around the whole world quickly.

The majority of the participants in the Activalingua programme prefer to stay with an Italian host family, carefully selected by our partner school. In total immersion, you will in this way have the opportunity to discover Italian traditions, by sharing several moments of the day with your hosts.
A few minutes away from the school, you will stay in a single room (or a double room for couples) and you can choose between full board, half board or breakfast only. You will share the common rooms with your family.

Following the Italian classes, it is time for cultural activities and excursions! Taormina and Sicily in general abound with attractions and sites not to be missed, which you will be able to discover with the other participants through the leisure programme. These activities and excursions are varied and allow you to explore the island from all angles, including a visit to a museum, a show to see, pottery or cookery classes, an afternoon of golf or even walks in the surrounding towns, beaches or countryside. A nice programme which you will savour day after day!
