Located in a quiet street, within direct proximity of the historical centre of Florence, our partner school, Linguaviva, occupies the 3 floors of a beautiful 19th century building. The course centre has several comfortable and air-conditioned classrooms, as well as excellent multimedia and computer equipment with free Internet connection. After your Italian classes, you will be able to relax and chat with the other participants in the garden of the school. Linguaviva attracts students from more than 60 different countries, creating, in this way, a stimulating international atmosphere to learn the Italian language and culture. Thanks to the excellent location of the school, you will reach the numerous cultural and historical points of interest in only a few minutes, which you will be able to visit by yourself or by joining the leisure programme which Linguaviva will have especially devised for you.

This two-week programme is perfectly suited to people of 50 years and more who wish to combine a pleasant holiday in Italy with the opportunity to discover fascinating cultural trails. Each morning, from Monday to Friday, you will take 3 Italian lessons in the school with the other participants in the programme. In a class of a maximum of 10 people, you will have the opportunity to improve your language skills, and more particularly oral expression.

The majority of the participants in the Activalingua programme prefer staying with a local host family in Florence, carefully selected by our partner school. In this way, in total immersion, you will have the opportunity to get to know the Italian way of life and traditions better by sharing certain moments of the day with your hosts. Around 15 minutes by bus away from the school, you will stay in a single room and can choose between half board, breakfast only or simply preparing your own meals.
